Activity 6: flash cards using study blue

I love this idea of making flashcards for students to use on their phones.  They are ALWAYS on their phones and this is a great way to make them more useful.  Easy access to vocabulary... key word easy and convenient to the average high school student! This site was extremely easy to use and create cards.

I also tried Quizlet.  This was also very easy and will be a good tool to use with my students.  Like all of these sites, I just need time to develop the materials.

  1. Your Studyblue link didn't work. It took me to the login page. Was there an embed code?

    The quizlet link works A-OK.

  2. Jenny, I think studyblue is a good tool for the age group you work with, especially since you noted your students are often on their phones. That doesn't come up as much in elementary so I thought Quizlet was a better, simpler choice for younger students.

  3. I love the flash cards on the phone idea too!!! They are always looking for any reason to use their phone and this is a great one! Quizzlet looks very neat from what I saw on your blog as well. It does look like it could be time consuming, but a great product if you can use it more than one time!

  4. I hadn't heard of Study Blue before today. That's a great resource to use. With students on their phones so much, it might just engage them to the curriculum!
